Duo Wanted For Using Credit Cards Stolen From Smithtown Restaurant

Police investigators on Long Island are seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating a pair of wanted men who allegedly used credit cards that were stolen from an area restaurant in April.

In Smithtown, police said that credit cards were taken from a purse from a parked car at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 30 while a woman was dining at Carrabba's Italian Grill on Smithtown Bypass.

According to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers, the cards were then used at multiple stores, including at Foot Locker in the Walt Whitman Shops in Huntington.

The incident remains under investigation. It is unclear how much was charged to the stolen card.

No descriptive information regarding the suspects has been provided by investigators.
